JM is 2 Months ~ May 17th

Eyes: Blue

Hair: Dark but starting to get thinner

Daytime: We are typically out of the house in the morning but he likes the car seat (when the car is moving) or being in the carrier on me and will sleep both places. His afternoon naps are hit and miss.

He has a fussy time around C's bath time (hooray for Gigi and Papa!) but he gets a bath around then with Gigi and that always makes him happy. He is awake in the evening with me and will nurse another 1-2 times and then goes to bed around 9.

Otherwise he isn't really content unless he is being held during the day.

Nighttime: He is sleeping better; he is still up nursing 2-3 times a night but settles back to sleep fairly easily. Except early mornings when I have been resorting to leaving him in my bed to sleep, which he does really well and since J is gone it works!

Eating: He is still nursing well, and I pumped several bottles which he took well. Still spitting up a lot and difficult to burp. He is a gassy kid, maybe it's a boy thing?!

Other fun stuff: Still has frequent epic hiccups. Less congested this month.

He likes a pacifier, but can't or wont keep it in his mouth alone.

Size 1 diapers and 3 month clothes; newborn is way too small now.

Gigi said he rolled from tummy to back once. He has amazing head control; he is really strong. HIs favorite pastime is sucking, or trying to, on his fists.

He smiles when you talk to him and he recognizes his Momma. He is just so sweet and even smiles a lot in his sleep.

JM is one month old

March - April 2016

Weight: 8 pounds, 12.7 ounces

Eyes: Blue? Sometimes I think they are hazel

Hair: Dark brown

Daytime: If he is awake he is fussy; he likes to be held, in the swing or worn by mom. I feel like he is rarely awake and quiet. He also likes to be awake when C is napping and sleepy first thing in the morning.

Nighttime: He nurses all the time, day and night. Good nights he will nurse every 3 hours. Even so we have a hard time getting him to settle back to sleep.

Eating: He is nursing well, but spitting up a lot. He's definitely got reflux and is congested and very gassy. Hard to burp (Grandpa has the magic touch) and a pooping champion!

Other fun stuff: He gets the hiccups a lot. Already is wearing 3 month clothes and size 1 diapers. He likes his pacifier,  but can't keep it in his mouth. No bottles yet. He holds his head up incredibly well and is looking around intently. He got his circumcision the 14th and is healing up from that.
