Daytime: He started sitting up at the end of October and low-crawling around that same time. He now crawls on his knees, is a pro at sitting up, and is trying to pull up. Now that he is mobile he gets around very fast. He also loves to use the walker and zoom around the house that way.
He naps twice a day. In the morning around 9 and in the afternoon between 1-2. Sometimes he sleeps really well for 2+ hours, other times it's barely an hour. Typically he has one nap that's better than the other.
He is good at playing by himself. Some favorite toys are blocks, mirrors, the little people zoo animals, and his new wooden ball toy he got at Christmas. Also anything with sound and lights (cell phone, beepbo, his new turtle). And he still loves anything that crinkles.
He doesn't watch TV like his sister, but he likes when it's on; especially when there is music.

Nighttime: Everyone got sick in November and our sleep training went down the drain; then he got two new teeth. Sleep has been more erratic; some nights he is up 3 times, others just once between 12-2 to nurse. He wakes up between 5:30-6:30. Naps have also been more rocky; he only naps twice and only well once. Lately his good nap has been in the morning.
Eating: He is nursing 4-5 times a day now. He started eating food a little after 6 months and loves it. You can not feed him fast enough. He loves finger foods and feeding himself. He also eats packets. He likes puffs and teething crackers; mostly because they're foods he doesn't need any help with. He loves sweet potato.
Much less spitting up; now it's mostly when he is teething. And he burps better; although I think some of his sleep troubles are still gas related.
